As we move into 2026, we see the year ahead as one of continued growth, deeper collaboration, and broader engagement across the Norwegian and international maritime community.
We have a strong and diverse programme planned, ranging from thematic webinars and panel discussions to collaborations with other Propeller Club ports and international partners. These activities will continue to focus on timely and relevant topics such as the green transition, regulatory developments, innovation, digitalisation, and the future maritime workforce.
A key priority for us in 2026 is the further development of our Student Ports initiative. We want to actively involve students and young professionals in our activities, not only by inviting them to attend events, but by giving them space to participate in discussions, share perspectives, and connect directly with industry leaders. We strongly believe that the future of the maritime sector depends on learning with the next generation, not just preparing them for it.
From an events perspective, IPC Norway typically aims to host up to two conferences or larger professional gatherings per year, in addition to our annual Gala Dinner, which remains an important social and networking highlight for our community. We are also planning our annual spring / early summer event, which will bring together members and partners for in-depth discussion and exchange.
In parallel, our regional presence continues to grow. In 2026, Bergen, Stavanger, Haugesund, and Oslo will each host their own regional activities, tailored to local maritime clusters while remaining connected to the broader IPC Norway agenda. These events are already planned for the spring season and reflect the strength and diversity of Norway’s maritime ecosystem.
As always, we see the Propeller Club as a living, member-driven platform. As we expand and grow our community, we remain open to new ideas, initiatives, and collaborations. If any members have thoughts, suggestions, or would like to take an active role in shaping our activities, we warmly encourage you to reach out. The strength of the Club lies in the willingness of its members and partners to contribute, engage, and build together.
We are very much looking forward to an active, inclusive, and inspiring year ahead.
