Sometimes the true value of a network reveals itself when time is critical.
Yesterday, we were reminded exactly why the International Propeller Club exists.
A contact at Aalmar Surveys Group called from the UK with an urgent request. A vessel calling Oslo had experienced an unexpected incident and was arriving several hours ahead of schedule. Immediate local support was needed — and fast. The question was simple: Do you know any reliable surveyors in Oslo?
Thanks to the Propeller Club network, the answer was immediate.
A quick call was placed to Fredrik at Nordic Marine Solutions, a connection made not through a database or search engine, but across the table at one of our Propeller Club Gala Dinners. Within a short time, Nordic Marine Solutions was able to step in, assist the vessel — and welcome a new client.

This is what the Propeller Club is about.
From a call in the UK, to a vessel in Oslo, to a solution delivered through a Norwegian member — this small story perfectly illustrates the strength of an international maritime community with strong local roots.
Not formal matchmaking. Not forced introductions. But trusted relationships, built over time, across borders and sectors, that enable people to help each other when it matters most.
For Aalmar Surveys Group, the issue was resolved efficiently.
For Nordic Marine Solutions, a new client relationship was created.
And for the Propeller Club, it was a reminder that our mission is working.
Connecting people. Creating trust. Enabling action.
A big thank you to all involved — and to our members who continuously demonstrate that being part of the Propeller Club is not just about attending events, but about being part of a living, working maritime network.
